Born in Mexico city Roberto Huerta(Graduado Jaguar) became involved in the martial arts at an early age, with over 20 years experience 14 of those in capoeira 10 of serious dedicated training and work with His former Group.
Responsible for the first organized group of Capoeira Regional in Houston, Jaguar is now developing his own work in the Houston area. With the focus on the preservation of capoeira's rich heritage, using his knowledge not only to uphold tradition but also help enrich and balance the lives of all who train under him. Jaguar brings passion and intensity into his energetic style of teaching. With a firm belief that a strong foundation is what makes a good capoeirista.
Graduado Jaguar has taught Capoeira Programs, Intensive classes and Workshops in over a dozen HISD Schools and in such places as TX A&M, The University Of Colorado In Boulder, St Thomas University, and in Honolulu Hawaii. |
